Feedback 🗣

We have recently received some incredible feedback from our learners.

Don't just take our word for it, have a read of what some of our learners say about us:

My experience with SWIFT so far has been amazing. The staff are very very friendly and helpful and are willing to do whatever they can to get you to a position were your happy first. They allow you to give your insights and what you feel comfortable with.

My interview with Lucy showed this as I was given really useful and to the point information which was informative and helpful to what I wanted. I was told everything I needed to know and the steps they would take to get you to the right place. Compared to other interviews I have had in the past , this so far is definitely the best in terms of it being very informative and worth the time.

Working in a nursery has taught me so much personally. I thought I’d find it challenging due to my mobility requirements, but that was in no way the case. I was able to have fun throughout my first week and pick up a few new skills. In the nursery, my co-workers tell the kids that what they are doing is bad by saying things like, "Oh, I'm really unhappy," or "No, thank you." This allowed me to observe that the kids did, in fact, listen and stop what they were doing while being instructed in a calm manner. Through this I saw how much better children respond when asked to do something without being yelled at. Additionally, I discovered ratios, something I had never heard of before. Given that it was my first week, I believe I did a good job of developing relationships with the kids. I fed them, read to them, played with them, comforted them, made them laugh, etc. Overall, my first week of relationship-building went well.

I settled in pretty quickly I did my first day in with the 2-3s then for the rest of the week I've been in with the pre-schoolers staff have been really helpful, I have learnt a lot about the children's behaviours now that I've had experience having them for such a long period of time and how to react in situations. I have really enjoyed bonding with the children and helping them with their learning, the biggest challenge I faced was in the 2-3s room as it was a lot more structured and they struggled to speak about what was wrong so I had to use my intuition, I overcome this more as the day went on as I got to know the children more and their characteristics. Overall I've had a brilliant first week.

I do feel as though you’re an amazing person who really values their role in the industry, and this establishment. You’re a very welcoming person, and you make the interviewee feel very comfortable which I believe is crucial, if you really want to get to know someone properly without bias. My experience has been amazing, it really feels as though we’ve known each other for ages, because of how friendly you are.

Communication wise, things are great honestly, and I really do feel comfortable asking questions, because compared to other establishments, I think it's definitely more like a chore compared to SWIFT. If, I had any improvements I would name them, but my experience has been good which I'm so grateful for. I was so nervous, but you've made me feel very welcomed, and I'm so grateful to have come across SWIFT, and to get to know you Lucy. Thank you!
