London Competitive Contract
Rooftops Nursery
Early Years practitioners understand the importance of a curriculum within which each child’s individual rate of development is respected and nurtured. Their curriculum is structured through time, space and materials to enable the children to access the necessary tools for learning. High self esteem is important for young children and their philosophy is based upon this foundation skill. When children feel their efforts are appreciated and see them celebrated, they develop a positive self image. When children spend time with adults who appreciate what a child tries to do, the child feels valued. All children have needs. They need a safe and secure environment in which to live and play. They need interaction with known and trusted adults to develop a framework for their own attitudes and behaviour.
Many of their parent/carers recommend the nursery to their friends and relatives, giving them a steady flow of children. A number of the children attending the nursery are the second or third child of a family. Rooftops really is a family affair!
